In-vitro fertilization or IVF is an insemination method of conceiving with fertility issues.

While in vitro fertilization or IVF is a popular insemination method of conceiving with fertility problems, other solutions could be just as effective. Such treatments include hormone drugs to increase production, intrauterine insemination, and diet or lifestyle changes. The patient clinic may consider using one of the following alternatives insemination methods to save the expenses of IVF.

Diet and lifestyle changes are about as simple as the patient can get. Improving patient diet is beneficial to their health and body. Incorporate fertility boosting foods such as green vegetables – namely asparagus, spinach, and seaweed. For men, barley green juice and pumpkin seeds are good for increased semen production. Exercising can get the patient body in shape to gear up for pregnancy. It can also aid in weight loss after delivery and can make delivery easier. Be sure to eliminate any toxins from patients body, as such as alcohol and drugs. Both can have a harmful effect on your odds for conception.

Typical types of insemination methods available.

  •  Hormonal drugs are prescribed during IVF procedures to stimulate the produce of eggs within the ovaries. The same drugs, however, could be prescribed to balance out hormones. It creates the perfect atmosphere for conception within ovary of the patient. Hormones can also help to regulate the patient menstrual cycle which will increase their odds of conceiving. If the patients are unsure about hormonal therapy, discuss the issue with their physician. The physician will be able to discuss the pros and cons and help the patient to decide if the treatment is right for them.
  • Intrauterine insemination method is similar to IVF in that there is an implantation via syringe. The implantation, however, is not eggs, but the patient semen. The purpose of intrauterine insemination is to get the sperm closer to the ovaries, so they are in place when ovulation occurs. The procedure could be done from 3-6 days.  Before the patient ovulate as that is the length of time that sperm can survive an ovary. Having the sperm near the egg when it is released can increase their odds of a successful conception.

In vitro fertilization or IVF can increase patient odds of conceiving dramatically. Before spending the money on the expensive procedures, first, consider trying one of the above alternatives. Sometimes what the patient need is a simple lifestyle change such as a diet or exercise plan.

Intrauterine insemination method could be helpful too as it will make sure the sperm is close to the egg when it is released.

Try use hormone therapy as lower cost of insemination method.

Hormone therapy can stimulate patient eggs.  It will increase their chances of ovulation. As well as balance out any hormonal imbalance patient body may have. Whichever insemination method they decide to use, stay positive about conceiving and avoid any excess stress.
